Radisson Hotel Hauppauge Long Island seeks the following professional with 4 YEARS Hotel experience:

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:
It is the primary function of the Front Office Manager to oversee all aspect of the Front Office and staff to ensure quality guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or at least a 2 year college degree and 3 or more years of experience, or 4 year college degree and at least 1 year related experience.

DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:

Essential:

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards, as required by scheduling that will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.

Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Assist G.S.A.’s with check-ins and check outs confirming that established policies are being followed.

Supervise Front Desk Agents duties.

Oversee complaint and request log.

Monitor staff regularly to ensure highest quality of guest service is provided.

Authorize and sign adjustments.

Have a complete understanding of emergency systems and procedures.

Coordinate and administer all Front Desk trainings.

Supervise staff including hiring, administering discipline, training and scheduling.

Review and evaluate all departments in accordance with company policy.

Handle guest complaints, react quickly, logging and notify proper areas to service guest.

Research customer complaints and respond in a timely manner.

Must be able to perform all Front Desk duties.

Marginal

Complete special projects in a timely manner as required for GM or Executive Committee.

Oversee all special programs involving Front Office, Night Audit, Security, PBX or Bellstaff.

Attend pre-con meetings

Supervise all maintenance problems with sleeping rooms, keeping daily logs.

Log all phone problems, write work orders and sign receipts upon completion of work.

All other duties as assigned by management\Assist Accounting Department with research for overdue accounts.

Encourage growth of individual employees within the company.

Attend and participate in staff meetings.

Conduct departmental meetings at least once a month.

Other duties as required.

THIS HOTEL FUNCTIONS 7 DAYS A WEEK, 24 HOURS A DAY. ALL EMPLOYEES MUST REALIZE THAT WE SCHEDULE AS BUSINESS DICTATES.
