If you are excited about the opportunity to join a growing organization with a culture focused on engagement, the Receptionist / Office Ambassador role could be right for you. Our ideal candidate will work onsite at our new, soon-to-be-opened corporate headquarters in Lake Oswego. The Office Ambassador is responsible for creating and maintaining a warm and welcoming reception area that reflects KinderCare’s Service Values. This means striving to make the experience of every employee, family, and guest you interact with exceptional. As the first point of contact for many visiting or calling our corporate offices, you set the tone for KinderCare’s culture, as well as set the standard for recognizing and responding to the unique needs of everyone from potential new coworkers to our wonderful families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean, inviting and professional lobby at all times.
  • Order office supplies, coordinate deliveries, log system request tickets, and manage and distribute access cards.
  • Provide administrative and project support to other functions and departments including but not limited to HR, events, and the mail room.
  • Be onsite during core business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Qualifications:

  • High school degree.
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Willingness to obtain Notary certification
  • 1+ years of Receptionist, Administrative or Customer Service experience desired
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to problem solve and take initiative
  • Organized, resourceful, with strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable and proactive
