Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Services Manager to join our team! As the Food & Nutrition Services Manager, you will ensure a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction of Food & Nutrition Services. What you will do in this role:

  • You will oversee food service-related activities, patient meals, retail services, including cafeteria and catering for meetings.
  • You will oversee quality improvement, sanitation and infection control related activities.
  • You will be responsible for all operations of the department including ordering, processing and delivering of products
  • You will also train, supervise and monitor of all Nutrition Services Personnel.
  • You will prepare reports and monitor departmental costs and budget.
  • You will assure that prepared regular and therapeutic diets follow Diet Order Instructions, menu’s recipes, spreadsheets etc., with knowledge of kitchen equipment operation.
  • You will monitor daily production and assure that staff meets their production levels and workloads.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years food service or related food service operations experience preferably in a healthcare environment to include food preparation, distribution, service and record maintenance. Two+ year’s supervisory experience.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Serve-Safe Certification or equivalent as approved by state of Florida required, or must become certified within 90 days of employment.
  • Experience with all aspects of food service to include but not limited to ordering, inventory, finance, menus, scheduling and diet office processes preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
