JOB TITLE: Fleet Manager Assistant

SUMMARY

Lynch Oil Company is a family owned petroleum wholesale company with five locations in Central Florida. We sell diesel, gasoline, and lubricants to commercial customers. We have an immediate opening for a Fleet Manager Assistant. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working individual with a background in billing and a desire to work for a fast-paced company. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a "can do" attitude.

FUNCTIONS:

The following generally describe the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties. Ability to:

· Schedule new repair or servicing appointments.

· Stay in contact with vendors on maintenance and repair progress

· Answer phone calls from vendors, drivers, and other Lynch employees who need assistance related to Fleet Management.

· Offer Fleet related assistance to all 5 Lynch Oil branches

· Transport vehicles for service and repairs

· Assign Fleetmatics Key Fobs

· Spare vehicle key tracking

· Prepare Fleet statistics documents.

· Update FMCSA information

· Utilize website to order parts and do research

· Assist in retrieving information for monthly drivers meeting

· Accident tracking and investigation

· Run fleet reports from Fleet Software System

· Fuel portal maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma
  • CDL License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement
  • 1-2 years previous clerical, billing, and/or Fleet experience preferred.
  • Experience with VMRS coding is a plus
  • Fleet Tracking Software experience a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access software.
  • Knowledge in operation of basic office equipment such as copiers, phones, fax and printers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
