General Description

Assist the development and implementation of all Retirement Center strategies and operation by providing support, analysis and promoting retirement readiness within our clients. Must have general knowledge of retirement and financial planning topics with willingness to pursue professional development and specialization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support on client data gathering process for Retirement Snap analysis.
  • Support the analysis of client financial data and identify retirement needs.
  • Coordinate educational events, prospect meetings and client discussions.
  • Develop and update educational content including presentations, articles and/or infographics.
  • Document referrals and follow up with the appropriate units to maximize business opportunities.
  • Document client interactions, communications, and opportunities on CRM application.
  • Follow up with client and potential clients on open business opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting, documentation to senior management and periodic updates.
  • Analyze and log Retirement Center data, including educational events, participation, trends, referrals, and closed business opportunities.
  • Make presentation to audiences.
  • Support the Retirement Center in strategic projects as needed.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Financial Planning.

Experience

Minimum of two years of experience working in the financial industry.

Other Qualifications

  • General knowledge of Financial and Retirement Planning concepts.
  • Have or develop technical knowledge in retirement planning areas such as
    • Investments, how they work and how to implement them in a retirement strategy.

    • Insurance products in general and how to implement solutions for retirement risks.

    • Government programs including Social Security and Medicare.

    • Retirement plans, types, and differences.

  • Knowledge on traditional and non-traditional banking products and services, preferable
  • Understand financial statements, analyze them, and make recommendations about them.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations that apply to the financial and retirement industry.
  • Ability to analyze and anticipate financial needs, present alternatives to resolve the situation identified.
  • Skills to prepare effective presentations and present the client.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal relations.
  • Analysis skills, task coordination and problem solving
  • High level of organization to set priorities, work with multiple simultaneous tasks, fulfill deadlines, and be flexible to changes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
  • Advanced level in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, both in English and Spanish.
