Delta HomeCare is pleased to announce the opening of an Entry Level File Clerk position available immediately in our Tullahoma TN. Office. Looking for an applicant that wants to learn, grow, and develop within the company, with the opportunity for advancement.

In the current world, we all know that not even a bump or bruise is cause to go to Urgent Care or Hospital, and many of our clients (just like us) prefer to sleep in their own beds at night. The place they have lived, loved, and perhaps raised children.

We are looking for a file clerk to perform various basic clerical tasks. The File Clerk will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and be detail-oriented. Candidate must be comfortable and proficient with Microsoft Office computer programs. This position will require great attention to detail, and one must be able to learn quickly. Tasks include managing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems, operating office equipment such as faxes, computers, and phones, communicating with other departments effectively, and completing general office tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A file clerk must be organized and possess a serious understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
  • Paper Filing experience
  • Adept in handling office equipment
  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
  • The ideal candidate will be skilled in computers and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will perform various basic clerical tasks, including managing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems, operating office equipment, and completing general office work
  • You will organize paperwork according to an efficient filing system
  • You will be expected to protect and update files as well as make them easily accessible to your colleagues
  • Must be capable of answering questions about records and files
  • Retrieving data within allotted time frames
  • Coordinate file management, including gathering and indexing, with other departments and employees
  • Handle clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing
  • Providing quality control to ensure the documents were properly filed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
