Housing and Human services is hiring for an hourly Facilities Maintenance Invoicing and Inventory Processor.

The Facilities Maintenance Invoicing and Inventory Processor is the primary administrative technician that receives and processes for payment by Housing Finance Accounts Payable invoices for all materials and services utilized in the maintenance of Boulder County Housing Authority’s affordable housing portfolio; performs routine administrative duties; assists tenants with maintenance-related questions and issues, helping the administrative team in finding solutions and ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner; assists maintenance staff by ensuring they have the information and materials to complete assigned work; and supports the Business Systems Supervisor by preparing reports, communicating with other departments, maintaining records, and purchasing as needed.

This is an hourly position with Boulder County. This position will work Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, flexible hours (around 20 hours per week). This position will primarily work at 1 288 Alaska Avenue, Longmont CO 80501. Under FLSA guidelines, this position is non-exempt.

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.

Hiring Hourly Wage: $19.50- $27.54 hourly

Tentative Hiring Timeline:
  • Phone Screening: week of February 13th
  • First Round Interviews: week of February 13th
  • Second Round Interviews: week of February 20th

Examples of Duties

  • Receive and validate with appropriate maintenance staff accounts payable invoices for materials and services utilized in the maintenance of the housing portfolio; process invoices by entering them into work order and accounts payable software, preparing invoices for Finance Team
  • Assist Finance Team with resolution of any questions concerning accounts payable invoices; act as liaison between Finance Team and Maintenance Staff
  • Assist Business Systems Supervisor and Maintenance Staff with the management of material inventory necessary for maintaining housing portfolio; order materials and appliances

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Boulder County is looking for well qualified candidates to fill our positions. We are looking for a minimum of a high school diploma and 2 years experience processing invoices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, DropBox, Microsoft Teams, Housing
  • Management Software and other required software programs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Experience in accounts payable processing
  • Experience in property maintenance administration preferred
  • Experience with dispatch of any kind preferred, experience with housing maintenance a plus
  • Knowledge of affordable housing eligibility programs a plus
