What Materials Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Materials Management is responsible for the management of material inventory levels to ensure that raw material components and manufactured products are available when needed to satisfy the plant and customer requirements. Responsibilities include the planning and procurement of material components to minimize obsolescence and overstock situations while achieving maximum customer service levels.

Accountabilities

• Loading finish good into trailers
• Crating loads in the system to be sent to the sterilizer
• Making sure production line has the cases needed on time
• Requisition of supplies as needed, such as cardboard, labels, etc.
• Perform the daily inventory and replenishment process of medical supplies
• Maintenance of stock locations (inventory rotation, product expiration audits, product recalls, organization and cleanliness)

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma preferred
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
• Inventory control experience preferred
• Good written communication skills preferred
• Experience with reach truck and cherry picker preferred
