The Motorcycle Company (TMC) operates nineteen Harley-Davidson dealerships located in Detroit, Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Manchester, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, Huntington Beach, and Riverside, CA. Our dealerships combined to sell more new motorcycles than any other Harley-Davidson group in the world. Together, the three principals of TMC have over a half century of experience in the motorcycle industry.

Since 2008, our strategy has been to grow by acquiring under-performing dealerships. To date we're batting 1000; all dealerships purchased have been turned around successfully, have exceeded expectations and have become the sales volume leader in each market served. The company is very financially sound, with combined annual revenues in 2021 of over $580 million. TMC is continuously looking for new acquisition opportunities and needs good people to help advance its growth.

Our Michigan office, located in Grand Rapids on the East Beltline, is a shared services center that provides accounting, payroll, and other business support to the dealership group. Major Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting, and the ownership team. Primary duties include completion of business applications, licensing documents, acquisition documents, and other business necessary documents as needed.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • Minimum of three years experience in Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, proofreading, transcription, and organizational skills required.
  • Exhibit a desire to be a team player by demonstrating willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and assist others when requested.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attorneys and staff members.
  • Ability to communicate and handle stressful situations in a professional, calm, courteous manner.
  • Ability to problem solve and arrange workload in order of importance to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to type 60+ wpm with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Willingness to adapt to and learn new technology, software programs, and upgrades.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent computer work in a typical office environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
