Job Details

Responsibilities:
- Review project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials
- Analyze project plans and specifications to accurately estimate project costs, including material and labor costs
- Develop and maintain a cost database of labor, materials, and equipment
- Conduct on-site visits to review site conditions and evaluate potential issues that may impact project costs
- Collaborate with the project management team to develop bid strategies and ensure project goals and timelines are met
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate bids and proposals to clients
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits with clients and project stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services
- Analyze and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing and quality work
- Continuously monitor project costs and provide regular cost updates to the project management team
- Participate in project kickoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition from the estimating phase to the construction phase
