Environmental Services Assistant
We are seeking hard-working, detail-oriented individuals to assist with the operations and general duties in the environmental department. These duties include maintenance of facility, cleaning, and laundry.
Cabell Health Care Center is a 90-bed care community providing skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation to home services, and long-term care.
Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that work areas are clean, and equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored at all times.

2. Maintain facility grounds, sidewalks, parking areas, and common areas.

3. Assist with receiving and storing housekeeping and laundry supplies.

4. Maintain clean and orderly stock room, storage areas and assigned environmental equipment.

5. Assist with Preventative Maintenance and Quality rounds.

6. Collect, sort, and wash soiled laundry and resident personal clothing. Fold, count, and label clean laundry. Inspect and pull damaged items as necessary.

7. Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, carpets, and all other assigned areas.
Education/Requirements:

- One to three months related experience preferred.
