Your role in our mission

Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
  • Provide technical support during and after implementation of healthcare electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions
  • Supporting Trading Partners with HIPAA X12 837 and 999 transactions and data exchanges
  • Conduct analysis of EDI transactions, and are responsible for documentation and related reports
  • You will be involved in the daily monitoring of file processing and troubleshooting of issues impacting successful receipt or delivery of client files
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for the setup and support of file automation processes and jobs within the department
  • Identify process gaps and areas where improvements can be made
  • Actively monitor, audit, and report on the processing of newly implemented trading partners to confirm a successful transition to the production environment
  • Provide production support through EDI operations processes for trading partners (customers, vendors, carriers, etc.), including troubleshooting and communication with trading partners, internal business users and IT colleagues
  • Create, review and maintain documentation related to EDI operations implementations and processes
  • Monitor the production environment and proactively prioritize, communicate and help to resolve any operational EDI process or system issues

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a strong proven, hands-on experience and understanding of the Healthcare EDI X12N transactions formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
  • In depth knowledge of and experience with HIPAA/EDI X12 5010 healthcare-related 837 and 999 transactions
  • 2 or more years of experience providing technical support for ANSI X12 trading partners
  • Expert with commonly used EDI concepts, practices, and procedures within a heath care field

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
