VetCor has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design/Draftsperson to join our thriving and expanding hospital group.

In this role, you will design drawings, assist with projects for multiple locations, draft building plans, layouts, and space revisions. The position will report to the Vice President – Facilities and work cross-functionally with hospital leadership, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities :

• Design, and maintain accurate drawings for our large network of veterinary hospitals.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from design to permit and construction documents.
• Preparation of cost estimates and specifications of material cost for designs.
• Designing using materials to meet company and veterinary industry standards.
• Maintain consistent, detailed verbal and written communications.
• Planned travel 10% of the time will be required to the site locations nationally.

Qualifications:

• Drafting experience with computer-aided design (CAD) AutoCAD, REVIT.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at a time.
• Experience drafting/designing renovations and new builds and expansions for clinics, hospitals, or retail locations.
• Full understanding of drawing specifications and code requirements.
• Ability to understand and use blueprints and other project planning/technical documents.
• Full-time position, a remote option with the ability to attend meetings at the corporate office in Norwell, MA.
