Job Summary

The Regional District Manager is a salaried-*exempt employee that directly oversees the daily operations of a geographically defined services district, as part of a larger services region, in which a team of field service personnel support a customer base through the execution of onsite services. The Regional District Manager *role requires both a fundamental, industry-specific technical background and a capability to understand, communicate and execute administrative business functions.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Regional District Manager include:

  • Oversight, management,and limited performance of preventive & remedial maintenance services at customer site locations
  • Management of geographically isolated field service personnel (including payroll and expense validation)
  • Onboarding and mentoring of newly employed field service engineer personnel
  • Assisted coordination and management of professional and technical training opportunities for field service engineering personnel
  • Validation and approval of post-service action items
  • Drafting of standard methods of procedure (SMOPs)
  • Allocation of corporate resources and personnel to efficiently respond to and rectify emergency service requests
  • Assisted development of project revenue projections
  • Customer deliverable generation, approval and submission
  • Process quality assurance (including periodic SWOT analyses and field team audits)
  • Daily communications with regional customer base including customer relations management
  • Basic “profit/loss” management
  • Other responsibilities as dictated by requirement and corporate dynamic

Minimum Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or other technical concentration, or
  • Minimum of 7 years in-depth critical power systems maintenance and troubleshooting experience Prior OEM employment/training experience preferred

Abilities Required

  • Technical expertise in critical power systems operation and maintenance
  • Fundamental background/experience in Microsoft applications
  • Proficient in customer relations management practices
  • Functional knowledge of small enterprise accounting practices
  • Proficient in organizational file management
  • Expert-level technical writing and editing preferred

The Regional Operations Director is a salaried-exempt employee that directly oversees the daily operations of a geographically defined services region in which a team of field service personnel support a customer base through the execution of onsite services. The Regional Operations Director role requires both a fundamental, industry-specific technical background and a capability to forecast, plan and execute financial objectives based on KPI’s and local market trends.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Regional Operations Director include:

  • Oversight and management of preventive & remedial maintenance execution
  • P&L performance management for assigned geography
  • Management of geographically isolated field service personnel (including payroll and expense s)
  • Set and monitor annual objectives for direct reports
  • Create, document and share best practices
  • Cultivate relationship with sales leadership within assigned area
  • Onboarding and mentoring of newly employed field service engineer personnel
  • Assisted coordination and management of professional and technical training opportunities for field service engineering personnel
  • Validation and approval of post-service action items
  • Drafting of standard methods of procedure (SMOPs)
  • Allocation of corporate resources and personnel to efficiently respond to and rectify emergency service requests
  • Development of project revenue projections
  • Management of departmental expenses associated with assigned geography
  • Ability to forecast future staffing requirements based on sales pipeline
  • Customer deliverable generation, approval and submission
  • Process quality assurance (including periodic SWOT analyses and field team audits)
  • Regular communications with regional customer base including customer relations management
  • Other responsibilities as dictated by requirement and corporate dynamic
