Job Summary
The Distribution Center Department Team Lead is responsible for providing leadership under the direction of the distribution center department manager to ensure merchandise flows through the distribution center to our customers, leading our Team Members. You will be a key player in our supply chain operation, ensuring operations run smoothly so we can ensure merchandise is being received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped properly to meet and exceed all assigned KPI’s and accomplishment of daily objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Promote a safe working environment for employees by ensuring safety measures are in place and being adhered to.
• Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas.
• Align with manager to ensure process objectives match the business needs.
• Maintain excellent levels of communication.
• Ensure efficient operations of warehouse management systems.
• Maintain and organize all areas to ensure warehouse has a professional and clean appearance.
• Monitor employee work performances, including accountability of company and department policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The highest level of supervisory skill required in this role with the management of supervisory employees.

• Supervision of hourly employees.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum (1-3) years of relevant work experience is required.
• Experience: Greater than (3-5) years of experience working with warehouse operations and/or supply chain logistics is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

• Project Management certifications is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the organization.
• Experience with warehouse operations is strongly preferred.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA Standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, Sales Pad and GP systems is a plus.
• Excellent with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power Point.
