This will Be a NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS Shift work position, with the possibility to pick up more hours as time progresses.

MJ’S Market is a privately owned dispensary in Grafton, MA, looking to add a passionate and driven individual to our team! The Floor Specialist/Front End Specialist is responsible for providing our guests with an extraordinary experience from the moment they enter our store through consumption of the product they purchased.

Responsibilities:

• Serve in multiple front-end roles within MJ’s Market Retail operations including security, fulfillment and cashier.
• Prepare and package orders for customers
• Check In / ID Check for customers entering facilities
• Processing orders quickly and in a compliant manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Inform Dispensary Manager of upcoming inventory needs.
• Adhere to distribution guidelines.
• Unpack/sort/label merchandise as directed.
• Maintain facility cleanliness throughout building.
• Merchandising and restocking.
• Accountable for accurately receiving, coordinating, and fulfilling patient orders by utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems in compliance with MJS Market, local, and state policies.
• Adapts to varied sales volume and stays active by participating in continued learning activities, creating an engaging environment, and assists in keeping the dispensary properly stocked, clean, tidy, and in operating order, while keeping a "Patient first" acuity.
• Assists in processing and monitoring floor stock and participates in daily inventory counts.
• Assists in fostering a positive work environment treats everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for everything cannabis.
• Perform other related work as required.
• Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
• Execute and follow up on operational standards and policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies within retail stores.
• Frequently operates computer/POS systems and other standard office equipment such as printers, phones, and photocopy machines.
• Frequently communicates with other staff via Walkie Talkie or Headset.

Above all else, act as the critical link between MJ’s Market and our patients/guests by providing an amazing, stress-free, helpful patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Must possess basic math, computer, and cash handling skills
• Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner
• Able to accommodate scheduling, including weekends and some holidays
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and team members
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures.

Preferred Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with point-of-sale/inventory control software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in the cannabis industry is desirable, but not required and/or Prior experience working in a highly regulated industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match
• Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
• High level of integrity

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position when checking IDs and/or checking in patients or when operating the register.
• Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs. throughout the dispensary.
• Ability to work in a confined environment.

• High School Diploma Or equivalency

Experience:

• Prior Cannabis Industry experience preferred but not required.
