Job description

We're seeking a Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing logistics, experience working with utilities and an understanding of the modern technology used in dispatching employees. The successful candidate will accomplish all of this while performing routine administrative tasks, working in a fast-paced environment and communicating with customers and management alike. Responsibilities:

• Monitor the vehicle tracking unit and create routes based on the driver's location.
• Encourage drivers to obey speed limits and arrive at scheduled stops on time.
• Respond to emergencies such as weather conditions and vehicle breakdowns.
• Inform drivers of traffic delays.
• Answer customer questions about routes, rates, and service quality.
• Serve as a liaison between dispatchers and drivers.
• Interview drivers for new positions.
• Recruit new drivers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
