COMPANY OVERVIEW

Vesta Property Services provides property management and related services to developers of planned unit communities and residential associations. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, Vesta offices are strategically located throughout the Sunshine State. Vesta employs over 1,500 trained and educated professionals providing a wide spectrum of services to residents of more than 300,000 homes in over 800 communities.

SUMMARY

To provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following:

• Provides guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment.
• Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Keeps sanitation solution up to company codes at all times.
• Sets up dish machine and closes down machine according to Club procedures.
• Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine.
• Washes plate ware, glassware, silverware and pot/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures and cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift.
• Places clean plate ware, glassware, silverware and pots/pans in specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keeps dish areas clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops and emptying trash.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes corrective action necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken
• Performs shift change and/or closing duties and completes assigned prep work.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 pounds.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stretch and reach;
• Prior experience.
• High standards of integrity and reliability.
