Job Description Summary:

Maximus is growing our Total Experience Solutions and Services organization to better serve the needs of our federal customers, and to continually improve citizen services and experiences. The Total Experiences Solutions and Services team is a group of skilled practitioners who are laser-focused on solving the most complex 21st century government challenges to build trust people have in the federal government. We aim to deliver services that are simple, seamless, and secure for all people. We use approaches grounded in design thinking, lean, and agile to help solve customer problems, and shape Maximus’ CX go-to-market strategy across our federal services.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and management of a comprehensive business strategy that drives growth, market expansion and maturity of the Maximus Total Experience Solutions and Services capabilities.
  • Lead CX initiatives in collaboration with federal clients and Maximus teams. This may include implementing proof of concepts/pilots and technology solutions, conducting discovery to understand current state operations/technology/pain points and use insights and data to design future state service blueprints.
  • Lead a team of subject matter experts in the CX discipline as opportunities are solidified and team expansion requires additional skill sets to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with Maximus teams to facilitate and adopt human-centered approaches to design, build, and deliver services and improve program operations.
  • Enable Maximus programs to deliver CX improvements and CX management as a consistent business practice across federal programs.
  • Educate Maximus programs on the state of CX in the federal government to position Maximus for growth and competitiveness in the federal market.
  • Develop Total Experience marketing position, collateral, thought leadership and market relevant points of view in collaboration with Maximus leaders and Marketing.
  • Shape new opportunities or recompetes as an influencer, subject matter expert and senior capture resource. Collaborate with Maximus cross-functional teams providing solution support, responding to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring CX strategy is integrated into technical and management approaches.
  • In rare instances, may be bid as key personnel as background and capabilities may resonate with the customer and bid requirements.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience aligned to duties required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, people management and capture activities in federal civilian, health, and technology verticals
  • The candidate must be comfortable and confident interacting with federal customers, partners, and Maximus senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of different technology solutions the federal government purchases; ability to learn new technology to support business direction and customer needs.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to set priorities, manage projects, direct teams, and deliver results based on requirements and goals.

Pay Transparency: Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
