I

• Provide support for and guide the development of Lean projects in the locations, promoting understanding and applications of Lean principles.
• Manage, control, and monitor processes and workflows at the distribution site.
• Partner with Warehouse Managers to oversee and train staff engaged in all warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, processing, inventory control, returns, shipping, safety, and loss prevention.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses on operations as well as communicate regularly with appropriate management.
• Engage in cost analysis of warehouse operations.

• Facilitate, train, and lead all aspects of the Lean program.
• Collaborate with Managers to execute Gemba walk process, utilizing and constantly improving the visual management on the warehouse floor.
• Coordinate teams to foster the exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning applications.
• Plan, direct, control, implement, and monitor forecast budgets and ensures each department achieves the financial objectives.
• Manage business forecast throughout the month, prioritizing business needs to meet forecast.
• Responsible for inventory management, ensuring managers are in control of their inventory, forecasting business needs, and able to identify and prioritizing needed products, including inbound containers, to meet customer shipping demands.
• Partners with Human Resources with new hire recruiting, onboarding new hires, policies, and all employee business practices.
• Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and quality to ensure proper inventory
• Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural change.
• Recommend new or improved methods, techniques, and procedures for various warehouse processes.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to ensure Department, Company, and Customer goals are achieved
• Ensure Departmental compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee compliance of practices and maintain an orderly, safe warehouse.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

• Ability to set direction, prioritize business needs and meet deadlines.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office/PowerPoint/Excel

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods.
• Physical ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with 2-person team requirements.

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• 7-10 years of operations/ warehouse management experience
