Ahva Care of Winfield is seeking a qualified Human Resources Director.
The Human Resources Director coordinates the Human Resources functions supporting the Administrator and other senior leaders in HR related issues. The Human Resources Director is actively involved in department activities, interdisciplinary team activities, and activities to ensure individualized, resident-centered health care for all admitted to Ahva Care of Winfield.
Responsible for the direction of Human Resource functions within the facility including :
- Recruitment
- Retention
- New Employee Orientation and Training (including, but not limited to, drug tests, background and reference checks)
- Training and Development
- Employee Relations
- Payroll / Accounting
- Compensation Benefits Administration
- Keep personnel files up to date
- Maintain logs up to date (e.g., attendance tracking , OSHA, infection control, Form I-9, daily staffing)
Requirements :
- Experience with electronic payroll processing. Knowledge of Paycor/ProPay preferred.
- Must be able to represent company professionally
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
Experience and Education :
- Prior experience in healthcare is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but extensive experience in the human resources field may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
- Keep personnel files up to date
- Keep logs up to date (attendance, osha, infection control, I-9, daily staffing)
- Assist mangers in progressive discipline
