Perimeter Behavioral of Ozarks, located near Fayetteville, Arkansas, has a great leadership opening for a Director of Clinical Services. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

Perimeter Behavioral of Ozarks is in the beautiful foothills of the Ozark Mountains and is licensed to provide residential care to our patients who have been impacted by trauma. Ages treated are from 6 to 18 years of age. Ozark’s small size allows for a strong family-like culture that is shared among residents and staff.

The Director of Clinical Services responsibilities include the following:

Provides leadership, management and clinical consultation to the case managers, therapists, and recreational therapists.

Directs operations of the clinical program to ensure policies and procedures are followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are accomplished efficiently and effectively.

Collects and analyzes statistical data and provides reports to the Executive Director and the leadership committees.

Formulates departmental policies with input from the clinical department and in accordance with the accreditation, federal and state regulatory standards.

Schedule, lead, direct and supervise the clinical staff. Develop and maintain proper staffing patterns for clinical staff according to safety needs, state regulations, budgetary guidelines, and supervisory needs of the residents.

Recruit, interview and recommend appointment of qualified and competent clinical candidates.

Assure current competency of clinical staff according to Facility’s policies and procedures and accreditation standards.

Identify and develop quality improvement standards for nursing to improve treatment and expeditated positive resident outcomes.

Ensure proficiency and accuracy in completing client records as scheduled and according to hospital’s standards.

Maintain a professional and productive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation and teamwork with co-workers.

Help to support a safe work environment by following safety practices within the center and immediately reporting any concerns/issues to the Safety Risk Management Administrative.

Works closely with the Director of Nursing, Medical Director, and all other members of the leadership team.

Qualified candidates for Director of Clinical Services should have the following:

· Must have a minimum of master’s degree in Social Work

· Must be a licensed either as a LCSW, Arkansas Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas.

· Must have five (5) years’ clinical experience in the delivery of treatment services to pediatrics, adolescents, and families

· Along with three (3) years’ management/supervisory experience

· Considerable knowledge of psychiatric, psychological and substance abuse/dependency services and programs

· May be participating on the Administrator on-call rotation

Pay: $81,590.00 - $89,167.00 per year
