Work with EHS to build and sustain a strong safety culture.

Assure quality system standards are effective and appropriately applied.

Overall accountability for overall company financial achievement including, profitably managing operations activities, resources and priorities as measured by Gross Margin.

Develop and maintain a favorable engagment environment and work with staff on their personal growth and development goals to ensure employees feel encouraged and motivated to contributed at their full potential.

Develop financial and operational plans and recommendations concerning equipment, facilities, operations and staff.

Work with R&D to successfully introduce new products and processes to the factory ensuring quality and responsiveness required to grow their respective business.

Develop and coordinate activities with functions such as Quality, Finance, Human Resources, IT, & Sales.

Develop, innovate and optimize manufacturing capabilities and capacities in alignment with the organizational goals, strategies and priorities.

Support and optimize initiatives to continually improve operational performance, specifically to increase our quality, flexibility and improve our overall value proposition to our customers.

Ensure that proper engineering processes are implemented, maintained and documented to successfully produce existing products.

Champion Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma and develop team core competencies around these disciplines.

Instill a disciplined approach to project management; mentor others to develop skills

Manage a project list, set priorities, and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
-
Maintain situational awareness of product line customers, suppliers, competition, market and business conditions and direct production line efforts in response.

Support sales, sales support, and customers to accurately communicate and represent HMC’s capabilities.

Develop and maintain a communication process to keep coworkers informed of current activities and events.

Lead and develop Operations management team; manage department staff consistent with established human resource practices, policies and guidelines including hiring, compensation and termination decisions
Your Profile:
-
Bachelors degree or 5 years of industry experience
-
10+ years operations experience with 5+ years’ experience managing a multiple/high-mix environment including high-technology operations
-
A technical degree or background is a plus.

Masters Degree is a plus
