We are searching for Director, Centralized Authentication Services (CAS) to join our team. Leadership and technical competence are necessary.

Position Description:

The Director for Enterprise Access Management (EAM) team would be responsible for managing a team of Centralized Authentication Services (CAS) Security Analysts within a large, complex, global security environment. This individual is responsible for delivery of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and Workforce authentication services solutions. This individual will be working with a diverse B2B/B2C/B2P/B2E customers to deliver security solutions in the most efficient manner while ensuring compliance with all security and architectural mandates such as MFA, SOX, HIPAA, and PII. This individual will consult with other teams such as ISRM architecture, CAS operations, Information Security & Risk Management, Risk and Controls Group, and other application team leaders to support overall Information Security policies and compliance.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Leading a diverse on-site and remote team that is responsible for the ongoing delivery of MFA, SSO and modern authentication solutions

  • Develop and drive CAS Security strategy and roadmap

  • Utilize effective people leadership and influencing skills to successfully conduct CAS solutions and the overall ISRM mission.

  • Establish, document, and communicate CAS services, capabilities, policies, and procedures to key stakeholders.

  • In concert with Security Architecture & Engineering, establish, build, and oversee the CAS function and its related activities including prioritizing, planning, reporting, and delivery of CAS services.

  • Lead multi-year program to increase adoption of SSO MFA technology to improve security and mitigate threats and risks to the organization's operations, assets, and data

  • Drive velocity and improve efficiencies in delivering SSO MFA solutions to application while keeping cost down

  • Stay abreast on latest technology and industry trends, threat and solution landscape and update peers and management accordingly

  • Ability to convey a strategic vision of Authentication services and Enterprise access management services to McKesson business and partners

  • Coordinate a consolidated strategy for all security designs across multiple diverse Business Units

  • Recommends and develops security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss.

  • Serve as CAS Security subject matter expert and provide advisory and consulting services as needed

  • Work with MSPs, contractors and vendors for services and licenses partnering with appropriate teams

  • Must be authorized to work in the US now and in the future without any assistance from McKesson.

Qualifications and Critical Skills:

  • Demonstrated delivery experience together with competency in creating and managing an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing) for large-scale Enterprise Access Management engagements

  • Experience leading the delivery of functionality and services on time, within budget while still meeting business needs

  • Experience in managing, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise Security

  • 10+ years overall IT experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IAM area working IAM tools such as SSO, MFA, IGA, PAM

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of Okta or equivalent IAM tools is strongly preferred

  • Strong, proven critical thinking skills and ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion.

  • Proficient in analyzing requirements, resource estimation, and allocation.

  • 4+ years of experience in a people leadership position

  • Excellent in team leadership and team-based critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral, written communication skills.

  • Ability to translate complex technical information across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to self-manage on tasks and mini-projects or improvement efforts

  • Strong facilitation skills and a clear ability to build strong relationships with business partners at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business drivers and priorities into security design, policies, and procedures.

  • Results driven, and able to collaborate with management and colleagues to share the responsibilities for achieving an end-to-end solution for customers.

  • Strong attention to detail which ensures that customer requirements are met and that a high- quality standard is achieved.

  • Provide technical perspectives to other architecture functions to ensure that solutions effectively leverage infrastructure capabilities and services and integrate with them.

  • Must have excellent initiative, organization, and customer service skills.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$141,400 - $235,600
