Digital Press Operator *** DIRECT HIRE***

$16.00 - $22.00/hour + Attendance Bonus and 10% shift differential

3rd – 11:00pm – 7:00am (aligns with Bindery schedule)

Digital Press Operator :

• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

Previous DIGITAL PRESS experience

• Quality-conscious and production-oriented
• Good at problem solving and making decisions
• Can work without supervision
• Motivated to do the best job possible
• Good with people and possess some written and oral communication skills
• Must have basic electronic and computer keyboard knowledge
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be willing to rotate shifts, work over-time, nights and weekends as needed
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to take and follow directions

Digital Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Uses digital equipment and software to produce job according to customer specifications.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment, changing paper rolls, and performing other assigned duties. This includes, but is not limited to ensuring maintenance activities are thoroughly accomplished and documented.
• Ensures that inventory is readily available for current and upcoming job runs.
• Continuously inspects for and maintains a high quality of work.
• Pull, inspect, log, and initial samples for each job
• Follow all SOPs. When violations or errors are made the operator is responsible for informing the Press Room Manager and ensuring corrections are made.
• Verify job counts to confirm counts are adequate for the next process.
• Works to keep the entire digital area clean at all times, both during production runs and down time.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are met and protects the health and safety of all employees. o PPEs, ergonomics, chemical hazards, etc.

Work where directed, be it on varying equipment or in other departments
