The work we do is meaningful every day- and our teams look provide residents with the highest quality of care in all their efforts.RoleThe Dietary Aide is an integral part of the kitchen and dietary team under the supervision of the community Food Service Director. Our best Dietary Aides are people who:

- 18 years of age or older and high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Assist with preparation of meals including refilling condiments, brewing coffee and tea, and other duties as assigned
- Verify meal requests of residents and communicate same with cook
- Promptly bus tables after meals and reset tables for next meal with silverware/stemware/coffee mugs/cloth napkins. Replace clean tablecloth toppers when needed
- Responsible for assisting with the daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen dish room, pantry, and dining room
- Follow safety regulations and precautions at all times
- Appropriately secure kitchen and equipment when applicable
- Demonstrate dependable work habits
- Proper dress, conduct, and professionalism is to be evident at all times
- This position may require exertion of 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and other lesser lifting as required.
