Department Office Assistant

Horizon Forest Products is the distributor of Impressions Flooring Collection and offers customers over 75 years of industry experience and one of the most comprehensive inventories of pre-finished and unfinished hardwood flooring, floor equipment, abrasives, finishes, fasteners, and accessories in the mid-Atlantic and Texas region.

We are searching for a creative individual with fantastic communication skills and excellent time management. You will be responsible for creating promotional materials, providing administrative support, and serve as an integral resource to the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and maintaining department common area
  • Assist in database entry
  • Preparing online orders
  • Maintaining marketing inventory
  • Packaging and transferring orders between different locations
  • Using Microsoft Office and other software systems to manage adminstative support
  • Reconciling invoices with receipts
  • Assisting/Coordinating events as necessary

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years’ professional experience
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with Wordpress or Hubspot is a plus
  • Self- motivated with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to lift 20lbs
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Garner, NC 27529: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
