The Cybersecurity Engineer- Identity & Access Management (IAM) will: provide technical expertise in designing, delivering, assessing, and supporting cybersecurity solutions and controls for the RUSH IAM Program. Review business requirements and design, develop, drive and deliver cybersecurity technology solutions and vision for future IAM projects. Requires the ability to work effectively on independent projects, as well as in cooperation with a variety of customers and other technical professionals

Position Responsibilities:
As part of the Identity and Access Management Program, technology, and processes:
Administer, maintain, and oversee the cybersecurity posture and technology of one or more elements of the Program.
Build scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance Program processes.
Assist with upgrades, patches, and maintenance of systems in accordance with RUSH policy and industry standards.
Identify and implement process improvements in the architecture and/or infrastructure of existing systems in the area of cybersecurity.
Participates in the on-call rotation for cybersecurity services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automations and best practice cybersecurity controls to accomplish enterprise-wide goals.
Provide cybersecurity design recommendations and assist in managing security implementations for various products and technologies.
Evaluate and recommend products and systems in key technology areas.
Remain up to date on new and emerging technologies within the area of security technical expertise and serves as resource to organizations initiatives for the Program.
Articulate cybersecurity risk for business and clinical processes related to the Program.
Review, analyze, and report on emerging technologies and their effect on the posture of the Program.
Develop content for knowledge databases, risk registries, policies, standards, and procedures.
Support vendor management review processes for cybersecurity related requests.
Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and technical project lead for various projects.
Assist in evolution and/or integration of Company applications.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 2 - 4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience designing technical security control solutions to address cybersecurity requirements for products and services.
Experience in the following: computer architecture, operating systems, embedded systems design, inter and inner process communications, networking protocols and their related implementations.
Exceptional understanding of industry frameworks including but not limited to NIST 800-53 and NIST CSF.
Good Understanding of health-related regulatory requirements as it pertains to technology (e.g., HIPAA).
Experience with compiled and interpreted programs and the types of security and identity issues possible in each including:
Database systems, web servers, application servers, firewalls, routers, load balancers, switches, and different types of middleware.
Identity and access management systems including privileged access management.
Application authentication & authorization systems and services.
Operating Systems security controls including Windows, AIX, Linux, and others.
Cryptography and encryption protocols and implementations.
General knowledge of application security API's and protocols: MS CryptoAPI, PAM, Kerberos, SSL/TLS, SAML, PKCS APIs, or others.
General knowledge of network security.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Certifications: (ISC)2 CISSP, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC GSEC, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation or higher.
Experience with identity and access management systems (e.g., Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, Thycotic, SailPoint, Duo, Imprivata, etc.)
Experience with Java, JavaScript, BeanShell, JSON, XML, or REST development
Experience in markup language processing like XML
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Experience with Active Directory or LDAP management, configuration, or design, PKI X509, SSO across multiple domains, 2FA, scripting, and coding.
