We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative with the national certifying organization for caregivers. And, the largest caregiver certifying body in the world. This is not a sales position. That is, you will not be selling to callers or those who make inquiries but rather providing callers (and through website chat) with general information about caregiver certification courses. As a customer service specialist you will be providing product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. You should be genuinely excited to help customers, be patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. You should also love to talk! Problem-solving and confidence are important, as well as troubleshooting and investigating student files is important. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and chats. Must be personable and have excellent phone skills.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Data entry
  • Working with Google Sheets
  • Printing
  • Invoicing through QuickBooks
  • Excellent writing skills required

Skills

  • Must be mature adult with ability to work in a professional office environment
  • Must be available to work on weekends. Schedule is Monday-Friday to start, then Saturday-Wednesday after training, which lasts about 3 months.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Some accounting type background a plus but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
