SPP Miami, a wholly owned subsidiary of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our Hialeah, FL facility. As a Customer Service Representative, you will take and process customer orders, address all customer inquiries and complaints, communicate & maintain relationships with suppliers, support/assist the sales team and other departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives.
  • Process billing accordingly.
  • Handle customer complaints and questions and follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required.
  • Maintain customer files and file scanning orders to everyone’s drive.
  • Process new items.
  • Process purchase orders as required.
  • Ensures prices match Customers PO’s to what the system shows.
  • Record and distribute customer order changes / confirm with scheduling.
  • Confirms received orders back to Customer.
  • Assist sales personnel as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales.
  • Track warehouse items to ensure availability and that agreed upon minimum/maximum levels are followed.
  • Recognize trim issues and get with scheduling to talk to the customer to work out a solution and/or more time as needed.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or GED.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in the corrugated box industry preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Computer data-entry experience – Word/Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, and volumes.
  • Ability to learn fast & understand work related tasks.
