Job description
Responsible for regulatory document preparation and oversight of processes and third-party service providers in support of shareholder engagement and financial print for multiple Nuveen product lines.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist with the preparation, review, production, and distribution of fund regulatory documents: shareholder reports, prospectuses, SAIs, prospectus supplements, 19(a) notices and proxy materials
  • Assist in monitoring and executing the regulatory publishing and investment products distribution environment including specific SEC regulatory EDGAR filing requirements and distributions.
  • Track/monitor assignments and actively identify any related issues or risks, escalating them, as appropriate. Work with team members to resolve issues and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Process corresponding invoices for fund regulatory document jobs by preparing expense allocations; assist with oversight of accurate billing and cost analysis/estimates
  • Assist with oversight of the regulatory documents on Nuveen/TIAA websites and third-party repository
  • Assist with vendor oversight to assure that deliverables are being met accurately and timely using SLAs where available as a guide

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of financial services experience, specifically in 40 Act Funds
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated skills with MS Office Suite and SharePoint with the ability to quickly review, analyze, comprehend, and summarize large data sets
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate
  • Experience in project management, content management systems or with financial printing, a plus

Base Pay Range: $57,300/yr. - $95,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
