This is an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Services team based at the Civic Centre, Carlisle. The working day is varied, dealing with queries for a variety of council services both face-to-face and by telephone.

As full training is provided, we invite candidates to apply who have experience in dealing with customers from any sector. If you enjoy dealing with people and pride yourself on customer service, we want to hear from you.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate competency with multiple IT systems and be available to start from 8am to cover department opening hours on a rota basis.

We are recruiting for three Customer Services Advisors with the following hours:

Position 1 (21hrs per week)

• Monday 9am to 5pm
• Tuesday 9am to 1:30pm
• Thursday 12pm to 5pm
• Friday 12pm to 4pm

Position 2 (21hrs per week)

• Monday 11:30am to 5pm
• Tuesday 12pm to 5pm
• Thursday 12pm to 5pm
• Friday 10:30am to 4pm

Position 3 (19.5hrs per week)

• Monday 12pm to 5pm
• Tuesday 9am to 5pm
• Wednesday 1pm to 5pm
• Friday 1pm to 4pm
