Position Overview:

The Culinary Systems Administrator is responsible for optimizing Flight Board Delivery System to create efficiencies in the kitchen and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products related to an event

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary tasks will include, but are not limited to, entering recipes in FSS (Food Service Suite) and maintaining Flight Board Delivery Management System
  • Ensure all recipes are linked to the proper item(s), and portion sizes are accurate
  • Review each event within Flight Board Delivery System to make sure everything imported from FSS correctly and the chef can schedule production and batch
  • Once each event is set up for delivery in Flight Board Delivery System, check each recipe and/or sub recipe that must be loaded on the cart for delivery
  • Communicate with the culinary, operations, and service teams on an on-going basis
  • Be a catalyst for continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities and ensure that current tools and resources are used effectively to enhance performance. Foster partnership and interdependence between teams.
Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in culinary, business or hospitality management. Equivalent work experience in the industry acceptable.
  • Two or more years in hospitality or food service required. Prior administrative/customer service experience also required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software systems
