Job Options: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, 8-12 hours shifts available

Salary: $27.52 - $41.22 per hour

Medical specialties:

You’ll Do:

· Operate CT equipment to produce cross sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissues;

· Position patients for scans;

· Set, monitor, adjust equipment controls;

· Collect clinical history and explain the CT exam process;

· Maintain positive communication with patient, physician, and refers issues/concerns to appropriate supervisor;

· Assists radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable;

· Completes documentation in accordance with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) requirements;

· Operates CT equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines

· Identifies, accesses, and prepares medication as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.

· Shares on-call status with other technologists within the CT department.

You’ll Need:

Education

· Completion of Radiologic Technology program

Experience

· 12 months experience as CT in healthcare environment

License/Certification:

· Iowa Permit to Practice

· ARRT Certification required within 12 months of hire

· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 6 months of hire

· Maintain CEU/CME’s as applicable for licensure/certification
