A few responsibilities of our CT Technologist include:
- You will prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
- Your role will be to perform procedures, assesses patients throughout, and respond to patient needs as appropriate.
- You will complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
- You will observe safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques.
- Your role will be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols and following all dosing guidelines.
- Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
- Currently registered as a CT Technologist, or will obtain CT registry within six months of hire date
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- One year of experience in an Imaging Department preferred
