Title: Craft Coffee Maker

Reports to: Manager

I. Primary Function

1. Craft Coffee Makers (CCM’s) are responsible for complete oversight of HARDY’s members and guest experience ensuring their visit is “destination worthy” and world class quality.

2. CCMs execute all HARDY’S Craft Beverages and ensure orders are delivered within our standards and that beverages, products and craft food are delivered within a 2-4 minutes per person time frame.

3. CCMs ensure HARDY’S operations and profitability is maximized through: a. Adequately stocking of supplies and product b. Members / Guests have been educated and guided in their selections of products c. Being an example of our mission to: “Loyally serve by producing crafted

products, consistently, with excellence.”

III. Essential Job Functions

● Greeting, educating and guiding people placing a order
● Completing transactions
● Preparing and serving orders
● Keeping environment clean and orderly
● Completing daily: Opening, Closing, Maintenance and Stock Lists
● Ordering Supplies
● Training in Craft Coffee Assistance during shift or off hours
● In-take deliveries and replenish stock
● Maintaining orderly operations and taking charge of flow and customer ordering
● Ensuring HARDY’S operations are prepared for rushes or shift changes

IV. Other Functions

● Balancing registers at the beginning and end of day
● May need to conduct tastings events
● Go to the bank and make deposits
● Help run errands picking up stock
● Attend and serve at local events
● May need to assist in fixing broken coffee machinery
● Attend external company overnights and classes 1-2 times a year
● May need to assist sister company [Hardys Coffee Co (Roastery)] at times

V. Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

You will be working in a temperature controlled climate, but will still be working with hot machinery. You may be going up and down stairs several times a day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend much of the time standing and walking, using his/her hands and arms in order to make the correct order. This will require that the employee be able to stand for long periods of time.

In addition, the employee must have the dexterity to lift 20-30 pounds, operate machinery, package and lift coffee. The employee must be able to hear, speak and see.
The employee will need to have the visual acuity to determine the fine details required for being a Craft Coffee Maker. The employee will need to concentrate for long periods of time in an interruption rich environment.

The nature of the work requires detail oriented and a high degree of accuracy. The Craft
Coffee Maker will need to stand, walk, finger, reach, grasp, push, lift, pull, bend, stoop and crouch.The employee must have the ability to work well and efficiently with personal accountability.

VI. Work Environment:

The employee will come into contact with hot objects such as hot water, and pour overs.
The employee will work with various machinery and electrical appliances. The employee may come into contact with slippery or wet surfaces. The employee will work inside in a climate controlled environment.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
