Corporate Controller

Location: Concord, CA and Rio Vista, CA

Pay Range: $120,000-$175,000 per year, Depending on Experience

Kolaboration Ventures Corporation is a $50 Million vertically integrated Cannabis company operating in California. We cultivate and manufacture and operate seven Dispensaries. We are committed to providing an unparalleled cannabis dispensary experience for our Customers.

We are looking for an experienced and efficient Finance leader to take our Accounting team to the next level.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the company’s transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure that business activities are conducted with an appropriate set of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and provide oversight to ensure quality control for financial transactions and reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare operational forecasts and variance analyses.
• Communicate with members of the Corporate organization to report on internal controls and financial prospects, risks and results.
• Serve as the point-of-contact or Audit and Tax engagements.

Skills and Requirements

• Accounting degree is required.
• Extensive knowledge of, and experience in, finances, financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, cash flow forecasts, profit planning, strategic planning, staff supervision and management.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with accounting operations and month-end and year-end processes.
• Broad knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Selected candidate will be required to complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
