Job description
Duties:
- All facets of the project management field.
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, weekly meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents, reviewing contracts, meeting with general contractors and subcontractors to review contracts and their scope of work.
- Preparation of estimates for new projects and change orders.
- Coordinate with Senior Management, Fabrication and Construction teams.
- Coordinate with outside subcontractors and vendors.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the construction/structural steel industry.
- Good computer skills including an operating knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and able to learn other programs. Estimating programs, Bluebeam, etc. are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Have the ability to visualize the finished product from the drawings and other documents provided.
- Familiarity with construction work and terminology. Ability to review construction specifications (especially Division 5)
- Good basic mathematical comprehension.
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be a self-motivated enthusiastic team player willing to work with others and adopt new ideas and methods.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 52,000 to 60,000 per year (will be adjusted for experience)
