Job description

Long Island's original solar energy company is seeking a reliable laborer/driver interested in becoming a trainee as a solar panel installer for residential and commercial installations in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of roofing, carpentry, electrical, or other construction experience to assist with solar equipment deliveries, solar panel and critter guard installations, and other construction duties at various job sites on Long Island.

Applicants must have a valid license and clean driving record, and be able to drive company trucks. A plus for person with own vehicle, company will provide mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Important for candidate to have positive outlook, friendly demeanor, and be enthusiastic about learning about solar energy with the goal of pursuing a career in this growing field currently in its infancy.

All of the above plus other associated duties, as needed.

Candidates must be willing to undergo background check. Company policy of no tobacco/vape, and random drug testing.
