Job description
RJW is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Consolidation team as a Consolidation Planner! This position is responsible for ensuring accurate information is populated into orders in all RJW systems, including, but not limited to, the Warehouse Management System and the Transportation Management System. This includes data points ranging from revenue pricing to planned shipping dates. This role will report to the Consolidation Lead and will assist in other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Consolidation Lead in order routing and mode planning
- Responsible for auditing revenue rates to ensure accuracy
- Accountable for entering accurate dates in orders, reflecting the planned shipping and delivery dates, with associated appointment numbers
- Responsible for entering proper mode for the carrier teams to execute against and ensuring orders are available in the TMS for the carrier teams to properly execute
- Responsible for ensuring orders are waved for warehouse visibility within the proper lead time expectations for that team
- Monitor pricing and transit schedules for carriers
Additional Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge and ability to enter data in Logistics software.
- Excellent problem solving and resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure situations.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Detail oriented.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in the field of logistics and/or transportation.
Education and/or Experience Required:
- High School Diploma required.
