What You'll Do
The Consignment Inventory Analyst will oversee all finished goods consigned programs with SBD Outdoor customers. The role will serve as a contact and coordinator between planning and distribution operations and will assure timely and accurate reporting of consigned inventory. Responsibilities include inventory and sales reconciliation, auditing, generation of performance metrics, and monitoring of finished goods flowing within the consignment locations. - Associates degree in Business or related area.
- Two-plus years' experience in inventory management, distribution, or accounting
- Working knowledge of inventory tracking and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and make decisions in a high-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the customer expectations and ability to anticipate their needs
- Detail-orientated work habits with strong organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Power BI, Word, Power Point, Teams)
- Motivation and ability to self-perform and manage projects
- Ability to coordinate and lead continuous improvement activities
- Able to travel (25% of time)
- Working knowledge of accounting practices
What You'll Do
The Consignment Inventory Analyst will oversee all finished goods consigned programs with SBD Outdoor customers. The role will serve as a contact and coordinator between planning and distribution operations and will assure timely and accurate reporting of consigned inventory. Responsibilities include inventory and sales reconciliation, auditing, generation of performance metrics, and monitoring of finished goods flowing within the consignment locations. Specifically, you'll:
- Manage inventory at consignment warehouses
- Develop and perform reconciliation processes for consigned inventory
- Utilize and apply inventory control methods and tools to guarantee accurate and timely reporting of consigned inventory
- Communicate with sales coordinators regarding issues with customer distribution centers or inventory imbalances
- Perform physical audits as necessary at various customer distribution locations
- Communicate any changes, activities, and plans as it pertains to consigned inventory
- Monitor customer on-time and fill-rate measurements
- Collaborate and provide direction to all distribution functions to ensure quality and delivery commitments
- Participate on relevant projects and teams for system upgrades
- Handle special requests as needed
