Kai-USA, manufacturer of Kershaw Knives and Zero Tolerance Knives in Tualatin, is looking for an organized person to assist the Compliance Manager, providing administrative support, light research, data entry, and document management.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties Summary:

• Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures. Process incoming documentation
• Legal research
• Handle multiple projects
• Assist in customs clearance, monitoring, record keeping and auditing.
• Provide administrative support to the compliance manager, including data input and spreadsheet management.
• General document control activities such as photocopying and scanning.
• Providing support and cover for related administrative tasks as necessary.
• Read, analyze, and interpret documents
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Requirements:

• Prefer 1-2 years import or export compliance experience or supply chain management experience. In lieu of experience a degree in supply chain management.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• An organized person with critical thinking skills who can use their own initiative and work well in a team.
• Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
