We are seeking a Community Marketing Liaison to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for educating, problem-solving, and building relationships with referral sources, obtaining referrals, completing and participating in planning, organizing and executing the business development departmental plan for assigned areas. Will be knowledgeable of and incorporate marketing opportunities in planning. Frequent day travel with reliable transportation and occasional overnight travel is required. Will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with assigned accounts, as well as those of team members. Will be responsible for one-on-one sales calls, hosting booths for community activities, and presentations to groups in order to enhance the reputation of the facility and increase awareness of services offered. This position includes marketing of inpatient and/or outpatient services.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing or related field, or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills
:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Healthcare marketing in the acute care hospital, rehabilitation, or home health care setting preferred.
  • Marketing/sales skill expertise preferred, with a history of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills preferred.
  • Working experience with local medical community preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with medical and administrative staff in an assertive, professional manner.
  • Self-motivated, extroverted, and enthusiastic individual who is self-directed with ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to compute statistics and complete necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrated expertise to determine admission criteria.
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency for goal achievement with a strong commitment to results. Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
