Job description
This position provides assistance in coordinating and delivering external and internal information and education programs regarding water utility activities and services. An individual in this position plays a vital role in keeping the community aware of water, wastewater, and stormwater issues. This position may require occasional weekend work. Duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating education and community involvement programs for the public, creating newsletters, brochures, and other educational media, producing video content, and administrative tasks related to the Communications Department. Applicants must hold a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Environmental Education, or a related field; or a combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Individual will need to become certified in Project WET training within 1 (one) year of hiring.
