About The Role
Job Summary
Practice Plus Group are looking for IUC Comfort Callers for our Devon Out Of Hours service across the weekends mainly working Saturday, Sunday and Mondays to work on a Bank Contract (0 hours a week) which offers a lot of flexibility around when you work.
Responsibilities
You will ensure that all patients waiting for a clinical contact have been called to ensure that their symptoms have not worsened or changed. Further to that you will also make sure that all patients have been given worsening advice whilst liaising with doctors, drivers, co-ordinators, patients and management team during any shift.
We can offer you
This is a Bank contract, meaning you can pick and choose when you work.
This role offers working hours between 8am-12pm Saturday and Sunday and between 8am-4pm Mondays. You can work anything from 4hours up to 14 hours a week should you choose.
Pay Rate:
£11.23 per hour
About You
Requirements
- Able to work effectively under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrate an effective telephone manner
- Basic IT skills
- Having your own mobile phone and laptop would be advantageous as you could work from home if you do not, it will be working from one of our bases.
This role would suit somebody who has an existing position and looking for more hours over the weekend. Also someone who is at University looking for weekend work or Medical students.
