$250.00 for 30 days of employment

$250.00 for 90 days of employment

$500.00 for 6-months of employment


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties to set up and operate Coating Line Department equipment.
  • Use jib crane or overhead crane to position coil on pay off.
  • Use of electric pallet jacks to maneuver spools.
  • Select proper material for coating based on production schedules.
  • Check work at prescribed intervals and record data on check sheets.
  • Report serious defects or equipment problems to team leader.
  • Ability to mix paint and clean coaters using a respirator.
  • Proper Handling and labelling of chemicals and waste per regulatory and company requirements.
  • Set-up coating equipment (roll coaters) for the different types of coatings.
  • Identify different coatings and their requirements.
  • Set-up, operate, and adjust roll coaters to suit product requirements.
  • Able to perform coating sampling as required and identify coating defects

Shifts Available and Hours:
1st Shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) with overtime throughout the week and weekends as needed to meet production requirements.


Bonus:
Discretionary Performance Related Pay bonus plan with a maximum opportunity of $1,800.00 annually


Education and Experience Requirements
:

  • Ability to handle basic math
  • Ability to read and interpret simple reference material such as printed instructions and blueprints.
  • Ability to operate a jib crane, overhead crane, and electric pallet jacks.
  • Proficient use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and fix gauges where interpretation is required.
  • Ability to exercise judgment to operate equipment with limitations of standard methods and procedures
  • Continuous mental and visual attention required to operate equipment involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity
  • Communicate effectively any unexpected issues or resolutions to the appropriate staff.
  • Required to complete Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency class, a minimum of 40 hours per OSHA
