Responsibilities

Program, setup, and operate numerically controlled machines.

Set up and operate manual control machines.

Determine proper machining methods.
-
Estimate time required for packet completion.

Design and create custom fixturing.
-
Selecting the correct speed and feed for the cutter material combination.

Identify required tooling or work holding devices.

Hold tolerance on parts that require heat treatment

Document procedures such as set up sheets, tooling library, etc.

Plan day to day activities and take individual initiative in performing daily workflow.

Furnish or obtain information over the telephone, in writing, and in person with internal and external contacts. Requires normal courtesy and discretion in dealing with others.

Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Regal Rexnord policies, 6S procedures, and RegalRexnord core values.
Requirements
-
Effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
-
Accurately read and comprehend moderately complex material (engineering drawings, programs, blueprints, G codes).

Experience in SolidWorks preferred.
-
Experience in Mastercam preferred.

Knowledge and Utilization of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to write to explain or describe moderately complex or information
-
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
-
3 or more years of experience in CNC programming or a degree in CNC programming or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 or more years of experience as a machinist.
