Job description
The Cloud Solutions Engineer will be one of our primary cloud developers (primarily Azure) for new functionality and features for cloud applications across multiple projects. This engineer will collaborate with peers, architects and tech leads from other teams for strategic enterprise direction. They will development solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data science insights.
Responsibilities
- Work in agile product development framework
- Develop cloud solutions based on business requirements and approved architecture
- Evaluate and integrate tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
- Diagnose system performance issues and advise any necessary infrastructure changes
- Break down components of a solution and lead implementation efforts
- Interact with product and business stakeholders beyond engineering
- Mentor and coach contract developers
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical and development experience
- Cloud data engineering experience
- Experience with git repositories and release pipelines
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more associate or professional Azure/GCP/AWS certifications
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks
- Experience with Python/Pyspark
- Experience with Terraform
