How will you make an impact?

In this position, the Senior Staff Engineer, is accountable for development and of software projects. These projects can range from instrument automation, HL7 integration, data analysis, API development, but primarily cloud-based development with a mix of all skills! You will work directly with other team members to implement the functional requirements for the projects using our internal SDLC/Agile methodology. Your role will also include provide technical mentoring to junior team members through peer reviews and guidance on standard cloud-based development practices.

What will you do?

• Guide, coach, and mentor software development engineers using our internal SDLC.
• Work closely with various multi-functional teams throughout organization
  to influence product development and improving products.
• Work with customers and HLA experts to understand current and future software delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to determine technical direction.
• Integrate with existing software development team to delivery new cloud-based platform.

Education

Minimum Knowledge and Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (in computer science, Information Technology preferred), and 10+ years’ experience developing software projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experiencing in leading a team of software developers.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on software development experience with C#, .NET, MS SQL, Crystal/Microsoft Reporting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experiencing working on cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure Cloud Technology data storage architecture.

The salary range estimated for this position is $149,500.00 - $180,000.00. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $149,500.00–$224,200.00.
