About the Organization and Position

Well known Non-Profit is hiring a Clinical Supervisor for their cornerstone Housing Program. This is a wonderful agency that has been serving the community for over 40 years and integral to helping the vulnerable populations of Santa Clara county with essential services such as housing and food.

In this role the Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to staff assigned to programs under the Housing Services Department to meet Medicare/MediCal standards. Oversees psychosocial assessments completion, reviews and approves treatment plans and documentation to meet the needs of the clients. The clinical supervisor fosters staff’s clinical development and appropriate behavioral health clinical treatment goals and interventions for the clients in the program.

Responsibilities

  • Meets individually with program staff to provide clinical supervision, oversight and training.
  • Provides group supervision, crisis intervention and assistance, supervise assessments and clinical documentation
  • Documentation review and oversight meeting Santa Clara County Behavioral Heath Services Department Systems of Care standards.
  • Reviews and ensure the quality of client charts meet all legal and ethical standards of care.
  • Provides training and guidance on Medi-Cal documentation updates.
  • Provides and support staff with differential diagnoses.
  • Maintain confidentiality of medical and psychiatric records of clients as required by applicable state and federal laws.
  • Responsible for completion comprehensive reassessments prior to expiration of current treatment plans in a timely manner.
  • Carries a client caseload as needed.

Experience

  • Master’s Degree in social work or counseling required.
  • Licensed professional in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and/or Board of Psychology.
  • At least 2 years of experience post license for BBS staff collecting supervised professional experience.
